Theravance Inc. (focused on respiratory, infectious, and gastrointestinal diseases) has licensed Italian pharmaco Alfa Wassermann SPA an option for exclusive development and commercialization rights to its velusetrag for GI motility disorders in the EU, Russia, China, Mexico, and certain other countries.
