Camurus AB (intravenous, transdermal, and oral delivery) has granted Cangene bioPharma Inc., the US contract manufacturing division of Canadian spec pharma Cangene Corp. (majority owned by Apotex Inc.) exclusive US rights to episil, a small multi-dose medical device used to treat pain associated with oral mucositis, a side effect of chemotherapy and radiation.
