Avon: Avon Products and Ironman sports brand will launch signature men's fragrance collection named after legendary triathlon "for the Ironman in every man," according to Oct. 3 release. Developed by drom fragrances, Ironman collection is sports brand's first foray into the scent arena; range will comprise an edt spray, after-shave conditioner and anti-perspirant, "As a global company, we wanted the Ironman collection to capture both the global spirit of the race and the 'Anything is Possible' mentality that accompanies it," says Philippe Hostalery, group VP at Avon. Scent is "victorious fusion" of energizing citrus, exotic spices and rich woods; juice comes in sleek-yet-rugged bottle with cap designed to resemble a bike grip. Ironman competitor Matt Miller lends his face to the collection; Miller is founder of C Different Foundation dedicated to helping visually impaired athletes participate in events worldwide, firm notes.
