Executive Summary

Consolidated net sales for first six months jumped 42.3% to $40 mil. ([Euro]1=$.87) compared to prior year period driven by Burberry fragrances, which generated sales of $23.4 mil., up 79.3%, firm says. Paul Smith men's and women's scents, which debuted in July 2000, generated sales of $5.5 mil. Despite Christian Lacroix Eau Florale launch in February, brand sales were down 25% to $1.4 mil. in first half, Inter Parfums says. Plans for second half include October launch of Celine men's and women's fragrances and continued market development of Eau Florale
