Executive Summary

India-based contract research organisation Ecron Acunova has appointed AS Arvind as a strategic advisor. Dr Arvind will guide the company on operational excellence, and will support clients' clinical development plans. Dr Arvind was previously chief operating officer of Clinigene, a CRO subsidiary of Indian biotech company Biocon.

EuropaBio, the European biotech industry association, has appointed Stephan Tanda as its new association chair. Mr Tanda, a member of the managing board of life sciences and materials sciences firm DSM, succeeds GlaxoSmithKline's Andrea Rappagliosi, who will remain a member of the EuropaBio board.
