JPMA appoints new director general

Executive Summary
The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association has appointed Tadaharu Goto as its new director general. Mr Goto, who replaces Ichikawa Kazutaka, is president of the International Longevity Centre – Japan, a position he has held since 2005. He was previously director of equal employment, children and family at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Mr Goto's term runs until May 2012.
