Iovate Health Sciences USA voluntarily recalls additional Hydroxycut-branded products marketed in different package sizes and flavors than the 14 items that were recalled May 1, the firm says May 7. The firm, based in Blasdell, N.Y., and Mississauga, Ontario, initiated the recall after FDA received 23 adverse event reports linking the products' formulas to liver damage and one death (1"The Tan Sheet" May 4, 2009, p. 7)
