Federal Trade Commission member William E. Kovacic will succeed Deborah Platt Majoras as the next FTC chairman, according to a March 26 White House release. Kovacic, who served as FTC general counsel as well as a commissioner, "brings deep institutional knowledge, long-standing dedication to the mission and great respect for the staff," according to the release.
