Bioriginal's flavored fish oils: The Canadian essential fatty acids provider launches flavored fish oil softgels combining a fruity taste and aroma as an alternative to standard capsules and to help dietary supplement manufacturers develop diverse product lines with enhanced consumer appeal. The offerings, available in custom and standard sizes, include molecularly distilled cod liver oil, a 3-6-9 combination and concentrated EPA and DHA fish oils. The firm says it developed them to overcome manufacturers' common challenges, including unpleasant flavor or odor and the fishy reflux that can be deterrents for consumers. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based Bioriginal cites studies not only linking the omega-3s found in fish oils to enhancing heart, brain, joint and eye health, but also showing 33% of Americans who believe they are deficient in omega-3s do not purchase fish oils...
