Executive Summary
The Council for Responsible Nutrition has elected Marjorie Fine, executive VP and general council for Shaklee, as chair, CRN announces Dec. 7. Fine will succeed Kemin Health Senior VP Chuck Brice as chair of the association and will hold the office from January 2007 through December 2008. "During my two-year term, I intend to work closely with [CRN President] Steve [Mister] and cooperatively with our member companies, on an agenda that focuses on industry responsibility and further acceptance of our products as part of mainstream healthcare," Fine says in a statement. Brice will remain on CRN's board of directors and executive committee. Other newly elected officers to the board include Chair-elect Mark LeDoux, of Natural Alternative International; Treasurer David Christensen, of Bayer; and Secretary Joe LaPlaca, of DSM Nutritional Products...
