Executive Summary
Industry forum bringing together reps from CHPA, PhRMA, GPhA, NAPM and other drug industry groups to meet with USP once or twice a year to discuss specific issues such as new monograph development and U.S.-EU harmonization. First stakeholder forum for the standards-setting body was Oct. 4, where CHPA and others called for a more transparent monograph process modeled after federal rulemaking. The next two meetings, to be held before June 2001, will involve health care professionals and consumers, respectively, USP says
