Lone Star Distribution agrees to cease distributing products containing gamma butyrolactone in Texas under a final judgment and permanent injunction announced March 6. The company sold RenewTrient and other GBL products in health clubs as well as other items the Texas Department of Health believes are unapproved new drugs. Lone Star must destroy the products in question and pay $10,000 to the state. GBL is an illegal substance in dietary supplements in Texas
