Executive Summary

Robert Donovan elected president at the group's annual meeting in New York Nov. 16, replacing David Collins, who announced his resignation earlier this month. Donovan, a former director of Murdock Madaus Schwabe, OTC head of Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and a past CHPA chairman, is currently a strategic planning and general business consultant for the healthcare industry. The group had been considering recently retired CHPA President James Cope for the position. CFH also appoints AHP's David Olivier treasurer, PhRMA's Russel Bantham secretary and Novartis Consumer Health's Michael Valentino VP. CFH plans to release a pamphlet on drug interactions by the end of the year
