The continued sales success of Church & Dwight's Arm & Hammer Dental Care Advance White toothpaste helped boost the stock 14.9%, or 3-1/2 points, to close at 25 in the third quarter. As a result, Church & Dwight, along with Procter & Gamble (up 5%), led the consumer products segment of "The Tan Sheet" Index to a 2.6% gain for the three months.
