Executive Summary
Codex Alimentarius Commission guidelines for vitamin and mineral supplements do not need to include maximum levels for vitamins and minerals, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, the National Nutritional Foods Association, Amway's Nutrilite division and Nature's Life state in separate comments filed with FDA. The agency had requested comments on dietary supplement international trade issues in the April 9 Federal Register ("The Tan Sheet" April 12, p. 3). The deadline was June 8.
