Forum entitled "What is a Nutrient? Defining the Food-Drug Continuum" sponsored by the Georgetown University Center for Food & Nutrition Policy slated for March 30. The legal, regulatory and scientific implications of traditional "nutrients" and other dietary components on health promotion will be discussed by speakers including Irwin Rosenberg, MD, Tufts University; Scott Bass, Sidley & Austin; CFSAN Office of Special Nutritionals Director Elizabeth Yetley, PhD; CFSAN Director Joseph Levitt (invited); and NIH Office of Dietary Supplements Deputy Director Rebecca Costello, PhD.
