Executive Summary

The study forms the basis for P&G's claim of antibacterial activity in new MultiCare advertising ("The Tan Sheet" May 18, p. 1). Subjects brushed with either MultiCare, Crest Tartar Protection toothpaste or sterile water, before and after which microbial samples were taken from the gingival surface.
