FDA's Food Advisory Committee: Plans to discuss a number of dietary supplement issues at Feb. 11-13 meeting, including two issues raised in the final report of the President's Commission on Dietary Supplement Labeling: post-market surveillance and consumer research. The group also will focus on aspects of Good Manufacturing Practices for supplements. "The agency is interested in recommendations for ensuring the identity for different types of dietary ingredients and on record-keeping requirements," the meeting notice says.
