FUISZ FLASHDOSE ACETAMINOPHEN, IBUPROFEN WILL BE MANUFACTURED at the facilities of the pharmaceutical firm Clonmel Healthcare, based in Clonmel, Ireland, pending approval and closure of Fuisz' acquisition of the company. Chantilly, Va.-based Fuisz Technologies announced July 29 that it has signed definitive agreements with the Cross Group, Clonmel's parent company, for the acquisition. Fuisz previously announced an interest in European growth opportunities because of the region's "abbreviated timeframe" for product development ("The Tan Sheet" March 3, p. 14).
