The ads state that Neosporin's three antibiotics -- neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate and bacitracin zinc -- "are now delivered in a new base formula that provides an environment that helps promote the healing process." A July 13 free-standing insert promoting both Neosporin and Benadryl antihistamine highlights Neosporin's new formula, Neosporin's status as the "#1 doctor recommended brand for infection protection" and includes the tagline, "Kills bacteria to prevent infection and now helps heal cuts faster than before."
