WEIDER MASS MARKET SUPPLEMENT SALES UP 19.5% TO $54.4 MIL. through the nine-month period ended Feb. 28, Weider Nutrition International reports in an April 30 stock prospectus for its recently completed initial public offering. Over one-third of company sales (35.9%) were to mass volume retailers through the first nine months of FY 1997. The supplements firm attributes the rise to increased market penetration and new product introductions.
