U.S.-EU MRA NEGOTIATORS LOOK TO RESOLVE OUTSTANDING ISSUES IN MID-MAY, prior to a U.S.-EU summit in the Hague scheduled for May 28. FDA negotiators have asked for face-to-face meetings in Washington, D.C. in mid-May, following a teleconference set for the week of May 5. A meeting has not yet been scheduled, but FDA and EU Commission negotiators appear to have been making headway on the details of a mutual recognition agreement on Good Manufacturing Practices through a series of teleconferences over the past two months.
