INFANT FORMULA CALCIUM, PHOSPHORUS INHIBITION OF IRON ABSORPTION found "not clinically significant" in a study by Madeline Dalton, et al., Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, published in the April issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. The study involved 103 infants between the ages of six and 15 months randomly assigned to receive iron-fortified cow's milk-based infant formula or the same formula with added calcium glycerophosphate.
