GENEVIEVE SERPENTINE HERBS DISEASE FIGHTING/PREVENTION CLAIMS made in on-line advertising and in a product brochure have been discontinued, Genevieve International said in the Feb. 18 NAD Case Reports. The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus requested that Genevieve make a number of changes to its Internet ad, such as ceasing claims that Serpentine Herbs "are the best prevention against disease" and "have been `known to fight'" specific diseases such as cancer and AIDS.
