Pfizer attributed the growth to recent purchases, including Bain de Soleil sun care line, Cortizone anti-itch products and Hemorid hemorrhoid treatment. The company bought Bain de Soleil from Procter & Gamble in August 1995, and Cortizone and Hemorid from Thompson Medical in April 1996.
