"It's very simple...we need to fortify foods and you need a vitamin supplement with folic acid," Oakley stated Sept. 30 at the Council for Responsible Nutrition's annual meeting in Amelia Island, Fla. "Supplements are going to be a necessary complement to the fortification program."
