FDA IMPLEMENTATION OF EPHEDRA WORKING GROUP RECOMMENDATIONS ENCOURAGED by supplement industry groups in a joint position paper on ephedra safety released Aug. 22. "The dietary supplement industry urges FDA to implement the recommendations of the ephedra working group to help assure the safety of ephedra-containing products intended for legitimate dietary supplement uses," the paper says.
