AT&T OTC Interactive Kiosks: New Jersey-based Encore Network announces a "ten-year alliance" with AT&T Global Information Solutions/NCR, AT&T Wireless, Informix and the Interactive Times Shoppers Network to develop and install 15,000 touch-screen kiosks in "major" drug stores beginning next year. OTC companies "will be invited to sponsor" product segments and to advertise on the kiosks, which also will deliver health-related information, coupons, rebates, and referrals to health care professionals.
