OTC v. Rx NICODERM EFFECTIVENESS "COMPARABLE" in studies on the nicotine patch presented by Hoechst Marion Roussel Clinical Research VP Charles Gorodetzky, MD/PhD, at an April 19 meeting of FDA's Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee and members of the agency's Drug Abuse Advisory Committee. NDAC voted 9-0 that Nicoderm and McNeil Consumer Products' Nicotrol patch are safe and effective as OTC smoking cessation aids ("The Tan Sheet" April 22, p. 1).
