The decision to phase out the specialized infant nutritional lines including SMA, Nursoy and Bonamil in the U.S. and Puerto Rico was made, the company said, in light of Wyeth-Ayerst's "limited presence" in the U.S. infant nutritional market and increasing costs of competing in that market.
