UCLA STUDY ON ROLE OF DIET, FISH/SOY SUPPLEMENTS IN REDUCING BREAST CANCER has been initiated by John Glaspy, MD, medical director of the University of California at Los Angeles Oncology Center. Glaspy is conducting the study under the auspices of the newly established UCLA Breast Cancer Nutrition Program, which he directs. The role of a low-fat diet, which includes fish oil and soy supplements, on metastatic breast cancer will be evaluated in the trial.
