President's Commission on Dietary Supplement Labels: Kenneth Fisher, PhD, former director of the Life Sciences Research Office at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, has been appointed executive director of the White House-appointed commission to review dietary supplement health claims. Fisher headed the LSRO from 1977 to October 1994 and acted as a consultant to the office until August of this year. A formal announcement of the eight commission members is expected within the month.
