Responding to FDA data from consumer focus groups that were published in the May 23 Federal Register ("The Tan Sheet" May 29, p. 9), the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association maintained that the research provides "support for positions taken by NDMA regarding labeling of products containing iron" and requested "that FDA adopt the warning currently on iron-containing products under the NDMA voluntary program."
