Cartilage Technologies, Inc.: Announces plans to distribute Cartilade shark cartilage via drug wholesalers and brokers. Morgan Sampson Pacific, Pinnacle Sales, Florida Marketing, Hynes Sales, Ed Hockfield Associates and Ken Madden Associates have come on board as brokers. Drug wholesaler Bergen Brunswig also has agreed to carry the product, CTI said, adding that it is in negotiations with McKesson, FoxMeyer, and Alco. Cartilade has been on shelves in some independent pharmacies and "most health food stores" for about five years, the company said. CTI and Bergen Brunswig plan "major promotions" beginning in August, when radio and print ads will tout Cartilade as an "ideal source of...dietary calcium and phosphorus" as well as an antigenesis inhibitor that "may alleviate the discomfort and reduced mobility associated with joint conditions"..
