Executive Summary
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announces the availability of a $75,000 FY 1995 sole-source grant to the March of Dimes to evaluate the "effectiveness of public health programs to prevent birth defects through an assessment of the current state of knowledge among the reproductive-age women relative to folic acid consumption and the prevention" of neural tube defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly. The award will be made for a 12- month budget period for up to three years
