Executive Summary
OAM FY 1995 FUNDING FOR NON-DISEASE-SPECIFIC HEALTH CENTER is deemed a high priority by the program advisory council of the National Institutes of Health's Office of Alternative Medicine at a Dec. 7 meeting in Bethesda, Md. As part of its strategic planning for OAM's short-and long-term future, the council unanimously approved supporting at least one center, funds permitting, that would focus on cross-cutting areas of alternative medicine, such as women's health, rather than defined disease areas such as cancer.
