FDA PROJECTS FOREIGN INSPECTION INCREASE OF NEARLY 90% IN FY 1995 compared to fiscal 1994, which ended Sept. 30, Division of Field Investigations Director Robert Fish told a National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers meeting in Rockville, Md. on Oct. 27. Fish said the 570 foreign inspections planned for the current fiscal year is substantially higher than the 300 conducted in FY 1994. Resources for the foreign inspections, including money and personnel, will "come out of domestic coverage," Fish said.
