USP NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT GMP "INDUSTRY WORKING" PANEL slated to meet Oct. 4 to discuss "various" good manufacturing practices issues for dietary supplements, Pharmavite Regulatory Affairs Director Paul Bolar reported at the Council for Responsible Nutrition's annual meeting Sept. 19-21 in Dana Point, Calif. The panel will include members from the industry as well as USP and will be chaired by Ralph Shangraw, PhD, University of Maryland. Shangraw also chairs the U.S. Pharmacopeia's subcommittee on vitamins, minerals and enterals.
