In Feb. 1 comments to FDA objecting to the SPF 30 cap proposed in the sunscreen tentative final monograph, Sun Pharmaceuticals maintained "that a need exists for products with SPFs in the 30 to 50 range and that those products have not been shown to present a significant increased risk."
