Executive Summary
Shutting down four manufacturing facilities in Baltimore; Quincy, Mass.; San Francisco and Pointe Claire, Quebec over the next 18 months and plans to close certain production lines at another six plants. The 10 facilities are the first to be targeted under a restructuring plan announced in July ("The Tan Sheet" July 19, 1993, p. 7). Approximately 1,800 employees will be affected by the closings.
