Initial agenda items for the Coalition for Community Pharmacy Action, a collaboration of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and the National Community Pharmacists Association, include remedying Medicaid reimbursement cuts, legislative corrections for Medicare Part D and continued access to local community pharmacies under the military TRICARE program. The two pharmacy organizations unveiled the coalition, which will represent chain and independent pharmacy on common legislative and regulatory issues, on July 20.
