Altocor SAVE program

McKesson will administer Andrx' Select Altocor for Value & Effectiveness discount card plan for extended-release lovastatin. Under the program slated for June launch, Altocor users will pay approximately $18 less per month for the drug; a year's supply will cost up to $1,000 less than other branded statins. SAVE has no age or income restrictions and will encompass cash payers as well as patients with insurance.
