AstraZeneca's Pulmicort Turbuhaler is upgraded to Pregnancy Category B by FDA Dec. 31. Change from C rating for prophylactic asthma therapy is supported by revie w of three Swedish birth registries from 1995-1997 that showed no increased risk of congenital malformations from use of budesonide inhalation powder during early pregnancy.
