California consumer class action
Nineteen manufacturer defendants offer to settle by providing $148.1 mil. in brand name prescription drugs and other products over three years to nonprofit medical clinics in the state. The settling defendants will also pay $28.9 mil. in fees. San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Alfred Chiantelli will hold a hearing on the settlement April 21. Several defendants named in the suit have not agreed to settle as yet
