ADAP funding: Supplemental appropriations measure (HR 1469) passed by Congress June 5 does not include additional $68 mil. sought by Rep. Pelosi (D-Calif.) for state AIDS drug assistance programs. Pelosi plans to continue to seek the funding during the FY '98 appropriations process; Sen. Specter (R-Penn.) will hold an Appropriations/Labor & HHS Subcommittee hearing June 11.
