GPIA LOOKS INSIDE FOR NEW PRESIDENT: ALICE TILL, PhD, who has been heading the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry Association on an interim basis, was named president May 23. Till succeeds Robert Waspe, who left in April upon the expiration of his one-year contract with the association ("The Pink Sheet" May 5, T&G-2). Till has been VP-scientific affairs of the association since 1995.
