ADAP FY 1998 APPROPRIATION INCREASE OF $131.7 MIL. SOUGHT by the AIDS Drug Assistance Program Working Group, based on the group's prediction that state ADAPs will require a total of $299 mil. in federal support during fiscal 1998. President Clinton's FY 1998 budget requests $167 mil. in targeted ADAP funds under Title II of the Ryan White CARE Act, the same amount that was directed to the state programs in FY 1997.
