FOXMEYER CARESTREAM DIVESTITURE LETTER OF INTENT SIGNED for "one of the two remaining operations" of CareStream, the wholesaler's managed care and information systems subsidiary. "The company anticipates recognizing a substantial gain over its $20 mil. carrying value on the sale in the second quarter," Dallas-based FoxMeyer reported July 1. The wholesaler has not disclosed the identity of the buyer.
