BRISTOL/SIBIA ALZHEIMER's AGREEMENT VALUED AT UP TO $50 MIL. for La Jolla, Calif.-based SIBIA, the firms announced Aug. 16. Bristol-Myers Squibb and SIBIA will collaborate on researching compounds that modulate the processing of the amyloid precursor protein. SIBIA said it has identified some potential lead compounds but it is too early to project a possible IND filing.
