PATENT AND TRADEMARK FILING FEES TO INCREASE IN OCTOBER, a notice of proposed rulemaking in the May 26 Federal Register states. The Patent & Trademark Office will adjust statutory patent fees on Oct. 1 to reflect a projected 3.2% increase in the urban Consumer Price Index as calculated by the Office of Management & Budget. OMB based its U-CPI increase on projections for September 1994-September 1995.
